Sustainability is at the heart of who we are
& what we value.
Duro-Last® Sustainable Commercial Roofs
Sustainability has been at the core of Duro-Last for over 20 years. Our founder, John R. Burt, pioneered the concept of repurposing old PVC roofing materials, transforming them into durable flooring, walkway pads, and concrete expansion joints. Through our sustainable manufacturing processes and the Recycle Your Roof program, we've recycled over 100 million pounds of PVC. These materials have found new life in projects ranging from Build-A-Bears across the U.S. to flooring in the Sphere in Las Vegas and the White House in Washington, D.C.
As a leader in sustainability, we were the first to publish a product-specific Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for single-ply PVC roofing membranes, further cementing our commitment to a greener future.
By choosing Duro-Last Roofing, you are not just investing in a superior roofing system; you are also supporting sustainable practices that benefit our planet. Together, we can build a greener future, one roof at a time.
